Sarada Rauch is an artist, poet, musician and activist. Their work infuses historical narrative with personal experience, memory and observation to complicate institutional narratives. Sarada screens and exhibits internationally in festivals and spaces such as Ann Arbor Film Festival, Athens International Film and Video Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, The Drawing Center (New York), Hessel Museum of Art (Hudson), Museum of Contemporary Art (Miami), Greatmore Studios/Triangle Network (Cape Town), Central St. Martins (London), La Conservera Center of Contemporary Art (Cueti), and RISD Museum (Providence). Artist residencies they have participated in include Open Sessions at the Drawing Center (New York), The LMCC Swing Space (New York), Lakkos Residency (Heraklion), _Hannacc (Barcelona) and they received the BBK Saxony Fellowship in Leipzig. They live between the lands of Chumash/Tongva (currently called Los Angeles) where they were born, and Lenape/Carnarsie (currently called NYC), where they are an Associate Professor of New Media and Technology at LaGuardia Community College.
